| Easy Calcium Frequently
Asked Questions:
What is in Easy Calcium?
Easy Calcium is made of organic compounds. Unlike
inorganic calcium sources such as calcium carbonate, calcium citrate,
or coral calcium, which are easily found in the earth as reefs,
rocks or limestone, Easy Calcium is scientifically extracted based
on proprietary technology, and is guaranteed to be soluble for
absorption and subsequent bio-utilization.Easy Calcium is made
of Calcium Gluconate Lactate, in a base of Calcium FructoBorate
and Fiberrific (Partially Hydrolyzed Inulin). Both Calcium FructoBorate
and Fiberrific are clinically proven calcium absorption enhancers. All
raw materials contained in Easy Calcium are extracted from plants
and vegetables.
How do I take Easy Calcium?
Easy Calcium can be mixed in any non-carbonated
drink (hot or cold). For best results, blend into water, juices,
milk, tea, coffee, or any other beverage and enjoy.
When do I take Easy Calcium?
You can achieve optimal absorption by taking
Easy Calcium twice daily on an empty stomach.
Why is Easy Calcium superior to inorganic calcium
sources?
In contrast to the high-tech nature of Easy
Calcium, common inorganic minerals that are used in majority of
vitamin and mineral supplements today are minerals that are easily
found in nature or in the earth as rocks or limestone.
Easy Calcium is made using Organic Calcium Gluconate
Lactate. Common inorganic calcium supplements are not considered
in the same league in the school of nutrition.
Other calcium supplements are difficult to take,
poorly absorbed and can cause digestive problems. Easy Calcium
is tasteless, odourless and can be mixed in any drink or food
without changing its taste. Easy Calcium is highly absorbable
and bioavailable, without causing digestive difficulties
.Easy Calcium is the only calcium supplement
that increases bone density by stimulating osteoblast activities
and enhancing collagen production.*Easy Calcium also prevents
gastrointestinal (G.I.) distress. Inorganic calcium supplements
can cause magma precipitation. This precipitation can coat the
mucous membrane, resulting in diarrhea and constipation. Calcium
Gluconate Lactate, however, does not form magma precipitation,
and using them will not cause stomach disorders, small intestine
stones or kidney stones.
In addition Easy Calcium is kept intact from
many compounds regularly found in foodstuffs. Those compounds
that commonly exist in foods, such as carbonates, phosphates,
oxalates and phytates, oftentimes attach themselves to inorganic
calcium to form insoluble precipitates. These precipitates will
further reduce the absorption of calcium in the small intestine.
What are the benefits available only from Easy
Calcium?
Easy Calcium has created a gap between itself
and other calciums with its unmatched high absorption rate and
high bioavailability. Its unique approach of increasing bone density
by stimulating osteoblasts activities and enhancing collagen production
also sets it apart from competition.*
There are many benefits you can only get from
Easy Calcium but not other calciums. To name a few, choosing Easy
Calcium will help prevent G.I. distress, kidney stones or small
intestine stones.
Easy Calcium can be most effectively used for
the following symptoms*:
- osteoporosis loss of bone mass
- arthritis (osteoarthritis)
- joint and cartilage damage
- bone fracture
- bone spur
- back pain / lower back pain
- nerve / muscle pain, and
- boost energy
Easy Calcium is the best choice for children
and teens for bone, teeth and muscle development. Its high absorption
rate guarantees that the young generation will have the opportunities
to develop to their full potential.
Easy Calcium is ideal for seniors for bone, teeth and heart health. Its high absorption rate and
gentle effect on the digestive system guarantees that seniors
will be able to obtain all the calcium they need to remain healthy.
How do you compare Easy Calcium with other
calciums?
Inorganic calcium supplements
are not in the same league with Easy Calcium. Competing products
including various forms of amino acid chelates of calcium available
for commercial use are in hydrous form, in other words, they all
contain two or more crystalline water in the molecules. As a result,
the bonding of amino acid molecules to calcium ions is often too
weak to stay stable. In essence they are not better than common
inorganic calcium supplements.
Easy Calcium is made of Calcium Gluconate Lactate,
in a base of Calcium FructoBorate and Fiberrific (Partially Hydrolyzed
Inulin). Both Calcium FructoBorate and Fiberrific are clinically
proven calcium absorption enhancers. We guarantee that Easy Calcium
is soluble in the small intestine for absorption and subsequent
bio-utilization.
How do you compare Easy Calcium with Coral Calcium?
The longevity myths of the Okinawa have been
around for centuries. It did not get attention from the West until
recent years. After years of research, scientists have successfully
identified one of the key factors that contribute to the unusual
healthiness of the Okinawans: the drinking water in Okinawa contains
organic calcium compounds that are highly absorbable.
What is in the coral calcium? Coral calcium
products are composed of calcium carbonate, the very same inorganic
calcium compound you may find in other sources such as rocks or
limestone. From a scientific point of view, there is hardly any
difference between coral calcium and other once popular traditional
calcium supplements such as Tums. They are all hard to absorb,
and may all cause kidney stones, lung stones and small intestine
stones. On the other hand, the development of
Easy Calcium was powered by many years of persistent research
on the myth of the Okinawa and the latest technology breakthroughs.
As a result, Easy Calcium has significantly higher absorption rates and works in a
wider range of pH environment.

Dr. Stephen Barrett, whose Quackwatch website is dedicated to exposing medical quackery and who has investigated Barefoot's activities, reports that his advertising has generated over 300 inquires to his site, more than for any other product.
Why doesn't Easy Calcium contain Vitamin D
or magnesium?
Traditional calcium supplements are made of
inorganic calcium and are hardly absorbed in the pH medium of
the small intestine. They rely on "active transport"
sites, located at the beginning of the small intestine, for absorption.
These sites are vitamin D dependent and are limited as to the
amount of calcium that they can absorb.
Taking traditional calcium supplements suppresses your body's ability to absorb magnesium. In the pH
environment of the small intestine, inorganic minerals tend to
attach themselves to one another and form precipitation. Once
precipitated, the minerals fall out of solution and become nonabsorbable.
Therefore, taking inorganic calcium supplements will dramatically
reduce magnesium absorption. That is exactly why one needs to
supplement magnesium while taking inorganic calcium.
Easy Calcium, on the other hand, does not need
Vitamin D for absorption. Easy Calcium is absorbed in its molecular
form therefore it doesn't need to use Vitamin D as a carrier to
penetrate the mucous membrane. Easy Calcium is able to take advantage
of the independent "passive diffusion" sites in the
more alkaline environment at the end of the small intestine. These
sites allow absorption regardless of stomach acid levels, age,
gender, nutrition or hormone status. Highly soluble throughout
the entire digestive tract, Easy Calcium is an extremely bioavailable
form of calcium. Easy Calcium doesn't interact with other compounds
thanks to its calcium having a strong molecular structure. Therefore
Easy Calcium will not affect magnesium absorption.
What should I expect to feel when I start taking
Easy Calcium?
You will notice that you have more energy. And
symptoms such as pain, cramps, and weakness subside in about a
week or two.
I'm on medication. Is it safe to take Easy
Calcium?
Easy Calcium is absolutely safe and does not
interfere with any prescription drugs.
Will Easy Calcium cause kidney stones?
It is common for inorganic calcium supplements
to cause kidney stones and small intestine stones due to low solubility
and poor absorption rate. Easy Calcium is made of a highly soluble and
absorbable organic calcium. Easy Calcium is one of the few, if
not the only, calcium supplements that will not cause kidney stones.
I'm a 32-year-old man. Do I need Easy Calcium?
Osteoporosis and low bone mass are a major public
health threat for an estimated 44 million US women and men aged
50 and older. A new National Osteoporosis Foundation (NOF) report estimates, by state, congressional
District and the top 25 metro areas, the prevalence of low bone
mass and osteoporosis in women and men aged 50 and over
While women who have osteoporosis are four times
more than men, almost 12 million men are now estimated to have
low bone mass. By 2010, this figure is expected to climb to over
14 million and reach over 17 million men by 2020. Studies show
low calcium intake during younger ages is the major cause of osteoporosis
or low bone mass at a later date. The NOF recommends that men of all ages have adequate daily calcium intake
to prevent development of osteoporosis. So the answer to your
question is yes. You should start taking Easy Calcium as early
as possible.
Are there any side effects with Easy Calcium?
Easy Calcium is perfectly safe. There are no
known side effects to this date.
Can I use Easy Calcium for my children?
Easy Calcium is the best friend for children
and teens. Calcium is essential to their bones, teeth and muscle
development. Choosing a good calcium supplement for your kids
is critical to their growth. Traditional calcium supplements may
damage their stomach and cause problems in the long run.
No calcium supplement will be effective if your
child refuses to take it. Easy calcium is ideal because your children
won't even know they are getting a calcium supplement. Just mix
into any non-carbonated drink (milk, water, juice, lemonade,
ice tea, hot chocolate, sports drinks, etc). They'll never be able to smell,
feel or taste the difference. Easy Calcium is highly absorbable
and bioavailable and it does not have any side effects. It is
simply the best calcium source for all ages.
Why can't I just increase absorption by taking
more doses of inorganic calcium?
You could. But as a result there will be more
inorganic minerals precipitated in your stomach and small intestine,
and the excess amount of magma precipitation will cause G.I. tract
distress such as diarrhea or constipation. The precipitate can
also absorb crucial vitamins as it is excreted, thus depriving
the body of essential vitamins. Therefore, increasing the amount
of common inorganic calcium supplements would actually be detrimental to your health.
